- A wireless router
- A Wireless Network Card

A Wireless router sets you back about 60 to 80 pounds, I advise Linksys for ease of use and setup. you don't need to be a computer genius to set it up.

A wireless network card may already be installed in your laptop/PC, if not , you can buy one for about 12 pounds at your local store.

Good luck, and enjoy your wireless internet.

You will need a wireless router and a wireless access card. If you are using a laptop that was made in 2004 or later you will probably have the wireless card built in. Below I added some links to where you can buy a linksys router which is what I use. And a wireless usb adapter if you need one.

To setup wireless networking you need:
1) Supporting Operating System (Windows XP for example)
2) Wireless Router
3) Wireless Network Interface Card

To get Wireless Network going, you need to configure both the Wireless Router and the client machines. Router configuration may vary depending on your ISP to access the internet.

You need a wireless router, or if you have a wired router a WAP (Wireless Access Point). A wireless NIC (Network Interface Card). Most modern notebook come with WIFi or atleast a mini-PCI port to install an internal wifi card. If not a PCMCIA card would be the next best thing.
Check with BT and see if they have Wireless modem\router combinations available. I know my DSL (In the States) upgraded me to WIFI whenI added PC at no cost.
