Keep rockin; it, Miss Carib! I have locs and my hair is healthier, fuller and longer than in years.
I remember when I was starting the process of locs by twisting it some years ago. A man I had met a few times asked, "Are you going to leave your hair like that?" He preferred Black women with their hair straightened, relaxed, etc. I told him that I was and that I would no longer be seeing him.
Self-acceptance and self-love are the first rules of engagement.

I've found that guys like any woman who properly cares for herself and makes the most of her assets. There are many different styles of hair, dress, attitude, etc, that men find attractive. Kind of like different flavors of ice cream.
