All throughout the State of Michigan Tempatures are droping very fast. They will continue like this all druing the day. Almost every schoool in Michigan is closed. Accecpt Midland Public Scools. I think this is absurd. Frost Bite can set in after 15 minutes outside at these tempatures.

wow. Its crazy how they close schools for that in the lower 48's and people in Alaska are just so use to this weather

Supposedly the reason is because they don't want kids waiting outside for the school bus, It is too cold!! But the truth is the diesel fuel run buses hardly start when it is that cold. Maybe Midland has a heated garage for their buses???

Keep your kids at home ! They may close later. Then your kids will have to be out in the freezing weather another time !
