According to all of History if you stick a stupid little flag in something and you have the POWER to control it YOU OWN IT!

We have to assume god wants us to have it or we would never had gotten there. If god wants you to have it you get it if he does not then you do not.

According to all of history you have to have men plant a flag, a probe landing does not count!

The Russians landed unmanned probes on the Moon too so should it be split? Seriously, no country owns the Moon. However, I would not be surprised if MacDonalds opened a store there just because it could!

A little bit of fact checking and you'll see that the USA doesn't actually own the moon. In fact, you can buy land there yourself if you want to. As it turns out there are many Israelis that own big parts of the moon.

it never happen dude, US never plant the flag on the moon, they just did it in some stupid studio under the nevada desert.

Think they can outsmart humanity, but the technology they used to deceive us years ago can be examined today with precision, and the result , hoax! The moon is the property of the sun. FYI

What a great question!
Would the USA like to own the rest of the world as well

you still believe that silly tale of americans going to the moon. many countries when they talk about this in school, its referred to as simply a claim not reality. since no country owns the moon, lawsuits would not even be an issue

There's an international agreement, the name escapes me, that the US signed along with other countries that says that space (to include the moon) doesn't belong to any one country.

The law you refer to does not exist.

In practice, bits of the moon might end up belonging to whoever colonizes those bits.
