Conditioning, we are told that we don't like mondays...ergo we don't!
If you work every day, just lose the calendar and the watch...it won't take long to lose track of which day it is. Then you'll be cured of the problem, or ....maybe you'll just find that after 7 consecutive days your brain needs an off day?

Shifts in sleep wake cycles. Staying up late and sleeping in on weekends. Plus, the sobering thought of returning to work/school and other weekly responsibilities. Try to include something to look forward to on Monday or Tuesday, it doesn't have to be anything big or expensive or strange. Just something to make the beginning of the week a bit more bearable.

Feeling like rubbish on a monday morning is often due to changes to your biological rhythms. If during the weekend you have late nights and late mornings, what happens is that there is a shift in your sleep-wake cycles, often leading people to feel tired and run down on mondays. This may particularly affect young people who lead a hectic social life at weekends.

i have a solution my friend.....
Wake up EVERY morning and pretend its Monday. When you have done this continously for about three weeks you will feel so fed up and pissed off at that Monday feeling that you will be able to get rid of that feeling for once and for all.
Please dont worry. Monday is just like any other day.

I think you are thinking far too much! - This is a question placed within a psychology section... do you not think that your low mental attitude to Mondays - is constant - because in your head your forever putting mondays down... its time you started to treat and think of mondays with respect - get out of those monday blues and embrace the joy it brings....

Cause you don't see Mondays as the beginning of a fresh new week, but as the end of the weekend...
