I have no preference, I have found some good news to actually be bad in the end and some bad news was not so bad.

for me ill listen to the bad news first then ill take the good news..it makes me feel like the bad news just faded away

I want the bad news done/out of the way/swept under the carpet/dealt with so that I can fully enjoy the moment of gladness when that sweet good news comes through my ears into the chamber of knowledge. Celebrate! Celebrate! Dance to the music kinda news!

I prefer to listen to the bad news first, because i can make myself sad for a shorter time and happier for a longer time!!
