i have tried all 3. first of all, choosing a cleanser is dependent on what your skin needs. i have tried so many being in the cosmetics industry for so long. Just to review for you the following items please see my comments below:
St. Ives - is good but if you use it everyday it might hurt your skin if your pimple prone. it's a good once or twice a week cleanser to aid in exfoliating your skin
Clearasil - is also good if your skin is prone to acne or pimples, but once your skin has cleared you also need to alternate with a gentler cleanser, as the active ingredient in clearasil may be too harsh for the skin.
Cetaphil - is gentle and may be washed off or tissued off. it's gentle enough to use on babies. so everyday usage is okay. among all 3 i recommend this. my husband who has super sensitive skin and this is the only soap / facial wash he can use. if you use this, i suggest you alternate also with a cleanser that can help your pimples (but use only twice a week) then use cetaphil the rest of the days.
hope i have been of help.

it depends on how old you are because some face washes contain to much of the acid which will just give you more acne.If your young i would chose St. Ives Apricot Scrub. If that doesn't help try other things.Good Luck!!

I use Cetaphil; it's the best for acne-prone skin because it's so gentle. I also use two topical medications prescribed by my dermatologist, who recommended I use Cetaphil as a cleanser.

I personally enjoy St. Ives Apricot Scrub;
but I absolutely LOVE the smell and feel of Noxema (the original one; I know, I know, it's not part of your list).

i have problem skin and have tried all the above. for me cetaphil did nothing , clearasil made me irritated more, and st ives scrub was good for removing dead skin cells and making my skin soft and black head free but i continued breaking out.
i recommend you stop wasting your money on cheap alternatives like the above that claim to do good,you obviously tried them and werent satisfied(or you wouldnt ask),invest in a good quality skin product like skII(SK2)facial range or proactiv solution...yes its costly but if you think of the amount of money you were wasting on products that were cheap and inaffective, wouldnt you rather one that actually works(if you calculate the cost of good vs cheap it roughly ends the same or you could even spend less)
works for me...
invest in yourself...go with the best.....because your worth it!!!!
