well i have been living here for 6 years, it is a wonderful place and at the same time hard at first, you need to get used to alot of new things , for example , the weekend is on friday and saturday.
Alcohol is not allowed eventhough it is permitted only in Hotels .
If you are Christian you can get a liquor license
Lots of professional women are in Dubai bearing in mind that prostituion is forbidden on an Islamic country
Weather is becoming nicer with years
It is rather artificial than historical place
You can find all kind of nationalities in a single club
Night life is wow in Dubai

Yes-- I lived there for three years in high school. It's beautiful. I lived in Abu Dhabi-- there's lots of grass and palm trees and you can see the ocean. The beaches are so sandy and clear blue. At night the city lights are cool. And when you go out into the desert it's amazing-- you're the only one there for miles.

I have been to Dubai many times for bussiness trips . It is a beautiful place. Generally the business environment is friendly.
Also it is not reall expensive to stay in Dubai.
