Stay freindly with everyone, from the boss to the person who cleans the bathroom, but don't try to become very good freinds with too many people. True freinds are better away from work.

Do not spread gossip. Listen to everyone, as long as it does not slow down your work, but pretend you have heard nothing about anyone, until you have heard it at least three times from three differnt people. That way people will trust you to tell you things and come find you to tell you because you always seem to be the last to know.

Remember that it takes a lot of work to create trust, but you only get to lose it once. Once someone has lost their trust in you, it is hard to get it back, esp. in business. Take care with what you do, what you say, and who you say it to.

Do not try to argue with people that behave badly, they probably keep there job by undercutting others. Remember if they act nice but behave badly when no one is looking, then the nice is pretend. Do not trust them but do not challange them, just watch them. My grandmother would always say to let wolves howl, that way you know where they are.

When walk pass the office, hold some files, folders or ref. Book even you don't have to use them, it make others think you are working on something.

messing your table with is not enough, try putting some books on the floor, this make others think you are busy.

when given a task by someone, don't obey like a dog, this make others think you are a esay bait.

Be nice, dress smart is not good enough, you soon will trash by others.
