Luck does not exist. It is a phenomenon which is made up by humans to ditract from the fact that they did not achieve what they wanted to. For example, a footballer hits the post and the ball goes out, another person with the same shot hits the bar and it goes in, this is not bad and good luck, it is 2 shots one being more accurate than another and going in. So to answer your question there is no luck. It's made up.

Luck counts when both teams playing are equally same quality side. Luck is almost ineligible/not counted if a giant team playing against a small team. The big team will simply steam-rolled them over. Of course there are times when things happen unexpectly.
