The job market in India is saturated. India affords to have only the best and the most qualified in it work force. Competition drives the others go out and find jobs in less competitive countries.

things are changing with an open economic policy. nowadays the educated are preferring to stay back in India as some exciting things are happening in the economic and job scenario.

The situation has changed there are enough number of opportunities that exist today in India. Infact there are many Indians who were in US are returning / planning to return to India.

It is a matter of supply and demand and being at right place at right time.

Under such situation it helps to know some one, everything being equal, even I am inclinded to offer a job to my lower classmate then an equaly qualified but complete strenger, if there is only one opening.

I do not consider that partiality.
