Yup the can if you both try hard enough. I had a long distance relationship with my wife for the first several months we knew each other. We talked every night and wrote letters. The key to making this work is to keep a mutual assurance that you both want to make it work. Love knows no boundries distance included. I have been married for ten years and our time apart was the best thing for us, we got to know each other intimatly and deeply on a personal basis before things like sex and personal quirks could drive us apart. We are so much closer than we could have been face to face, the time apart forced us to explore each other on a mental basis so by the time we finally got to be together there was a bond that was so strong on a mental basis, we had no secrets and none of that shy awkwardness that you get face to face it was such a relief to be able to talk completly freely without feeling like she was looking and judging me.

80% of those relationships fail..but long distance relationhsips do work..it's just that, it requires more effort from both sides to acquire stability. Trust is vital and so is faithfulness. I do feel that its better not to be in any long distance relationship to start with, but if u are already in one, then just try to compromise and trust your partner.

It's a hard situation.I know it very well...The taste of pain, because i miss him, is now a routine, cause i taste it every day.Love is the only thing that keeps you connected. And that's why it has to be strong. Also Trust. If these two exist, you have a base...

They can work, but the sooner you get together in the same town/city/home, the better. If you don't come together in the same location, it will probably not work. Good luck, regards Pen xx

It depends on the people who are in the relationship... It's all up to you two whether it's going to work out or not.

No, its like playing catch with a baseball with someone who is 2 miles away from you. No matter how hard you try to make it go, It wont make it. Also if you want the relationship to last then you love the person so I guess you dont love them enough to move with them.
