I am not certain that Grossman had a lot to do with the loss, Yes, I know about the interception that was returned, but really, the Offensive Coordinator (and it was very offensive), should be talked to because he never had Grossman manage a two minute drill scenario until it was too late. I think Grossman needs to get in rythm, and if he isnt - then things dont happen. I would have loved them do some hurryup offense - but that never happened - and if you all remember the Erik Kramer good year, this was another issue and we lost because some of the SAME play calling by Ron Turner..I was not excited when they brought him in, yes, he can put some points up but he has very little finishing moves to help the QB...Look at Peyton, he moved the ball up and down using hurry up offense, shotgun moves, etc etc..and he ate up the Bears..
Congrats on the those COLTS on the superbowl win..
Grossman will be back...give the kid a break

Your kidding right? Drew Bledsoe was the starter for nearly a decade before Brady took over in the last week of the 2002 season when Bledsoe got hurt. He lost a Super Bowl in 1996 against the Packers as a Patriot and was taken in the 1991 Draft in the Top 10 (I think) by the Patriots.

I'm glad you asked this question. It gives me a chance to vent!
The Bears despite Grossman were in the game right into the 4th quarter. Any decent QB might have made a difference.
The Bears defence were heroic. What they must be really thinking about Rex. I have a pretty good idea.

I'am glad the Colts won, but I think Rex is a good QB and this was his first full year of play, so I would say the Bears will start him next year.
But they should have never been there anyway, but there were not many teams in the NFC that beat teams in the AFC, I think the best in reg. season was 1 & 3 against the AFC teams

He was terrible, wasn't he? He must have some talent if he got 5 games with a QB rating of 100+, but it was a bad night to be a pressurised QB with the rain. He should have concentrated on getting the ball in his hands first thing and trusted his OL to give him the necessary time. BTW, when was the last time a Bowl was played in weather that bad?
