well if there next to each other the just get a hub and connect them through the Ethernet ports... and if there away from each other then get wi-fi...

Hi,

Get a serial network cable and make a network between the two, it will save on cost for another broadband connection.

Use the network wizard to help you make a connection.

A wireless modem router and either USB wireless dongles or wireless PCMCIA cards if your laptops dont have wireless cards built in. This way you can use the internet connection anywhere in the house or at least however the router broadcasts depending on the size of the mansion ;)
