Well your friends and acquaintances could not help but be at the very least concerned and at the most hurt and offended. But I would of thought that would be a no brainer.
.
However I would like to throw something at you for consideration. You mention that our identity is shaped by our memories, our failures, our successes......well what about reincarnation? What if those memories failures and successes were not only experienced in the now but in previously lived past lifetimes. Where we also met and befriended some of the people we now consider friends.....except the look of them differs i.e. gender is different, colouring, town or city, even country. How then would that factor into your experiment?
.
I'll be even more radical and throw in a possible afterlife where we live a life just as full as a mortal one but in a non corporeal state i.e. spirit. What if we acquire skills and develop friendships in this state as well which we take with us when we are born or reincarnated back into a physical form?
.
Do you see what I am getting at? This then makes the theory of our memories, success and failures shaping our identify much more complex but surprisingly even more possible than we first thought.
.
So I would suggest that if you are genuinely serious about whatever you are trying to establish (I am not entirely sure at this point) I think you might like to take a peek at the metaphysical section in your local library. You are just playing at the moment. Do some more research then come back to Answers.

You would become a better person and then, even I would love to know you and be your friend. That's a very nice experiment I hope you go through with it You must realize though that you would have to carry through with the idea to include even your enemies or "not so good of friends." Good luck. I think you're onto a good idea.

Actually, identity is formed very early in childhood thru a process of separating from your mother, or mothering figure

Since we are a product of everyone we have ever known and everything we have ever experienced, you, as you perceive yourself would no longer exist.
we grow because of people who have taught us. but starting with a blank page you could develop a whole new personality good luck
