It must be a wireless router you are using and make sure your modem is connected to the router then router to the pc.

You need from your main pc where the router is connected the SSID and the (security code if you have one set up) then run the wireless network setup wizard in network connections and enter the information you got from your main pc and it should connect automatically.

You need to work out the name or SSID of your router and put that into the software your are sing to control your wireless card.

Once the wireless card knows what to look for it will connect for you.

If you have other settings involved, eg. encryption, you also need to enter those.

If all else fails most wireless managers come with a scan feature. You can use ithat to find your router that way as well.

First, you'll pick to verify that your truly one of your pcs has equipped-in instantaneous (a receiver). (maximum more moderen pcs do) Then, you'd be desiring to get a instantaneous router. what's positive about them, is you're able to have one computing device stressed out, and yet another instantaneous in case you want. for instance, you may want to run a twine out of your router to the instantaneous router, and then use the instantaneous signal to flow for your sister's computing device if she has a instantaneous card in her computing device.
