Sounds like they are already becoming dependant on the swings - can the swings not be put upstairs temporarilly - so you can sleep in your own room? not a long term solution!!

Maybe 1 is waking the other up? Is there anyway you can seperate them to sleep just to see if that is the case?

If they have recently got out of hospital, they probably have their routine all up in the air and will take a while to get them into one - just give them what they need, catch a few hours when you can.

It wont last forever

Try to get some sleep when they sleep, even in daytime.
I had the same problem. No solution, it will get better when they feel better and grow a little.
Be sure they're clean, and feeded. Then let them cry a little (not more than ten minutes) to see if they just get tired of doing it!
And, let someone help you (father? granny? -anyone!).
You need to rest. Try anything, then ask the pediatrician what he thinks. I hope you well!

I bet you are feeling desperate at this point and you must be frazzled! Do you have any classical music? Like Mozart? I always settled my babies with very soft (barely audible) music playing and I would stroke them and pat them gently. It always calmed me and the baby. Obviously I am presuming they are dry, fed and had any medication they are supposed to, so that wouldn't be the reason they are crying. Most important is to be calm yourself, because if you are feeling tense and stressed so will they and they will continue crying. It's very difficult and tiring, I know, and I wish the best of luck.

when babies have flu they tend cry a lot.
what you need to do is :
1) try get some sleep when the babies are sleeping.
2) make sure they are not hungry and have a clear nappy.
3) give them a bath and then a baby massage.
if they are still unwell speck to your Doctor.

I hope this help.

make sure they are fed. 30 hour before your ready to put them to bed, bathe them. Get the house quiet. Maybe play lullibye songs. Then right before you place them in bed wrap them up papose style. So they can't move their arm and wake themselves up. It also gives them the feeling of being in the womb. Allowing you to get some sleep. Make sure as soon as they go to sleep you get yourself some sleep seeing as they aren't sleeping through the night yet!
