everyone has their own problems and nobody wants to hear it? I think life seems slow but I don't like hearing whining and I suppress.

Life is too short for complaining. I think we do it because it's in our nature. I know that sounds bad, but I don't think it is. When you've just had a crappy day sometimes it feels good to have someone just listen. Of course though the person complaining should keep it short and let the listener have the spotlight next. It's those people who become so self absorbed in themselves that get annoying.

Yes, state your problem, dilemma, complaint, whatever, & move on. There are just too many creative, fun and meaningful things to do in this world & not enough time. That is my only real complaint.

there's venting (saying it once) and whining, repeatedly complaining in an irritating manner/voice, the two are quite different.
