I know it's hard when you're looking forward to it so much, but 5 months is not a long time to be ttc - after a year it is time to first consult your doc. Take a good vitamin supplement, and extra folic acid, and try not to get too anxious about it - sometimes the stress of worrying about why you're not pg yet is the cause of it! Best wishes to you.

it can take couples up to 18mths to conceive, try not to stress about getting pregnant just relax and it will hopefully happen. Make sure that your having sex at your most fertile time of the month. U can use ovulation tests or an ovulation calender to help you with this. Make sure that your also taking folic acid and eating a healthy diet. Lose weight if your over weight and avoid smoking and alcohol. Your partner should wear loose boxers and take zinc to boost his sperm production. I fin another 6mths you still havent conceived then see your gp for some basic fertility tests. good luck

I have a good friend who tells me she only has to look at a man and she becomes pregnant. she conceived eight times in seven years.
My neighbour who is also one of my close friends, went through many tests because there was no little ones on the way. they have a bonny baby boy; they gave up trying after twelve long years and it happened; the second one is on its way.
My theory is not to try, if it is going to happen it will; just relax and enjoy practising the conceiving process.
There are a few tests your doctor can send you and your partner to take.
I wish you all the best.

pop round to mine.... sex x 2 = 2 babies.. I'd say that that is a pretty impressive stat.. soooo if your all good to go in the baby making dept just gimme a call...
ONLY JOKING.... try making sure you're both eating a proper balanced diet, quit alcohol and smoking..and get your man to eat copious amounts of garlic... it has been proven to increase sperm mobility and libido. Finally dont worry too much, it will come with time as long as you are both free of conceptual problems i.e. low sperm count / your tubes etc are all ok.

you need to relax and give your mind something else to think about, if you think to much of wanting a baby, then it will not happy like you want it to. Do some of your hobbies that might take your mind of things. It took me 2 an a half years of trying to get pregnant, my period is late hoping it is what i think it is.
i hope this helps you.
best regards

Increase your sexual activity during your ovaluation period.
Decrease the stress.
It can take years for some people to get pregnant, just have fun trying, and it will happen at the right time.
