If by 'tigers' you're referring to tiger barbs then they are most likely the culprits. Brightly coloured male guppies with long fins are always targets for fast moving barbs especially when they are present in small numbers and don't have members of their own species to fight with.

The mollies would only ever be a problem in a very small tank when a males territory would basically be the whole tank. Generally though they are not an aggressive species and its not likely that they are the aggressor.

If you're going to stick with tiger barbs, then you'll need to have a minimum of 5 or 6 so they can shoal and then try tetras with them. Tetras are that much faster they can get out they way. But again, get a shoal of them... shoaling barbs & neons can look awesome.

If you want to have guppies then this is possible, but you'll need a decent size tank (I'd go for 3ft) and include a lot of plants in one end so the guppies can hide when harassed by an over vigorous barb.

Make sure you don't overstock the tank though.

Mollies are non-agressive fishes they dont harrass or kill any fish. But tigers are wild ones. They are the culprits. If you want to keep guppies in the tank then you will have to remove the tiger fishes.

Guppies frequently arent "combating fish" as they prefer alot of pals to be with. in case you merely have both guppies contained in the tank, you ought to in all likelihood purchase a pair extra so each and every fish has extra pals. adult males like options even as it is composed of ladies human beings, so in case your interested in breeding them, you ought to purchase atleast 2 women human beings for each male, and they are going to breed atleast once a month. each and every "muddle" the mum has may be as a lot as 40 toddlers. so that you ought to get an rather crowded tank really quickly. you may favor to get somewhat more effective area on your guppies in case you upload extra to the tank. :) desire i helped -KDD
