Not to mention that the ark simply wouldn't have been seaworthy. A keel made out of wood lacks the structural strength to bear the stress that a vessel of the size described in the Bible would place on it. The ark would have snapped in half like the Titanic the moment it was afloat. It's been tried in the past with disastrous results..
