And Thorgirl, well I never expect a real answer from her. And if youre in the Army in MO you should be at PT right now, not sitting there avoiding real answers.

Andy keeps changing his non answer. The question is NOT did George W Bush get any talent. The question is, "WHICH Bush got shortchanged? Was George HW Bush a less talented President, or was George W Bush?"

I cant make it much simpler than that for you andy.

I think the same problem run in the Bush family, a complete separation from mainstream America. Bush (43) didn't get reelected because people felt he wasn't aware of the problems facing middle class America. GWB, on the other hand, also focuses only on issues important to a narrow margin of America. Unlike his father, however, GWB moves forward with his agenda without regard to popular opinion. Bush(43) at least tried to listen to other points of view, even if he didn't understand them.

Talent does not skip a generation. George Bush Senior was a worse president than his son. He got us into NAFTA, destroyed the economy, and created the whole Middle East mess in the first place.

Stan Laurel's father was extremely talented as an actor. John Quincy Adams was an alright president (though unpopular). Martin Luther King Jr's Dad was a bright guy.

Bush has no positive talents. He is a small man with a big stick, a bully, a thug, and a truly unremarkable person in every way shape or form. I wish him gone. As for skipping a generation, well, if every there was a case for birth control, Bush is it.

No... there are many cases of great artists who are the children of other great artists. Besides, genetics would predict that artistic aptitude should be handed down. Then, living in an artistic environment makes it more likely the child would be artistic themselves.
