I have a cervical polyp, but mine has come up since I had cervical cancer about 8 years ago. My gynacologist has told me that it should be fine, but I do have yearly smears still. The only problem it causes me is during sex sometimes it will bleed a little, there is then a bit of a risk of infection, but I have been fine so far.

Sometimes the gynaecologist will remove these if they are causing pain or discomfort, using laser or just cauterising them.
Any cell can change to be cancerous, so regular checks need to be in order. Regular exams or scans are the best option.

It appears like you've good medical doctors and they are up in this and taking good care of you. it is the biggest element. i will't get a good accepted practitioner contained in the realm I stay in because of my coverage and that i need to many complications one accepted practitioner in Gastonia NC advised me he would not' take me. isn't that something a affected human being needs to take heed to ?
