Talk to him/her. Show her things. If she reaches toward it, let her touch everything she wants to.

I love the book "Baby Minds" by Acredolo and Goodwyn. It's a great way to start introducing your baby to stimulating games. They offer many suggestions from newborn on (although the suggestions as the baby gets older are far more extensive.) It is a great start however.

Also, babies LOVE to be read to. Starting with some bright picture books, (Good Night Moon), books with great rhymes (Dr. Seuss) are a great way to stimulate the mind. Studies show that babies who are introduced to rhyming books earlier, learn the sounds and actually have an easier time reading when they get older. a 2 month old will happily lie down next to you on the bed, while you hold a book close to her face and read to her softly in your pretty "mommy voice."

2 month olds are so easy to entertain. show them shiny objects, bright colors like red, white, black. sing, and just plain talking keeps a baby entertained.

Talk a lot to the baby, smile, and laugh, make noises by clapping hands, snapping fingers. They love rattling toys at that age. Bright colored moving things. I think they don't grab anything with hands yet, but their cute eyes will follow anything!

An then music, sing songs to him.
Any song. I used to sing a christmas song to my kid when he was so small, it was July! He loved it anyway!!

They learn from anything we do.

They also like to be massaged a lot. I used to move his legs and arms up and down like excersise. They like it and it's good for their muscles.

toddlers are arduous! Hahaha! Your doing tremendous! a good signal to attraction to close if shes entertained is that if shes smilling. toddlers that age like to look at faces. They like to be talked to and smiled at. they merely get all cracked up! also for stimulation contact her. Rub her little legs and hands. enable her lay out and strech. also dont overlook tummy time! :-)
