Since when was there any justice in capitalism. The very essence of it is to protect the rich.

Tax cuts don't only affect the rich, and if you are willing to do a little research on the net you will find out that the tax cuts affected all of the taxpayers, not just the rich. The next thing to research is that the top 1% of the taxpayers pay 75% of the total IRS bill and that the bottom 50% pay only 4% of the total bill. That tells me that you should be thankful that you're not in the top 1%, and also thankful that the tax cuts have fueled the best economy since Reagan.

Maybe because the top 1% of wage earners make up at least 80% of the total individual income tax revenues.
Don't punish people for being successful.
Everyone should pay the same percentage.
Go after Bush for the illegal and immoral Iraq War. The only problem with the tax cuts is that they didn't go far enough.

It is the same theory as Regan's in the 1980's. It's called trickle down. You give enormous undeserved tax breaks to the ultra rich so they can go out and buy things like outrageous yachts and homes and all of the finest things that money can buy. Trickle down theory is that the average person now will have jobs building these things for the ultra rich. The more they spend the more the average Joe has work. It did not work in the 80's and it is not working now.

The top 1% doesn't pay any taxes anyway, their accountants know all the loopholes. That tax cut will only help lottery winners, and maybe a few movie stars and athletes who don't know where to find an accountant.
But really, if the rich are over taxed, they simply move to another country that taxes them less, and then they pay zero percent to the US.
I have no idea what Bush said, but it makes sense to me that we should keep the rich people in the country rather than drive them out to tax havens.

First he cut every body's taxes not just the rich. The reason you think it's just the rich is because they pay the most.Second the more money you give back to corporations the more they spend , this makes more jobs and more opportunities for everyone including the poor.If you tax the rich they take their money elsewhere and the poor suffer. Not to mention the country as a whole suffers.Rich doesn't equate to evil.Liberal does.

Rich folk`s need all the spare money off the poor in which to survive, they wither and die otherwise. Seems that way to me. The leeches want to take a look at the French revolution to what they have coming if they don`t start playing fair.

Weirdly, this wasn't addressed in any of the State of the Union speeches. Bush just keeps saying that he's "cut taxes" (despite that war time is one of the few times when taxes *shouldn't* be cut, because we're just getting deeper in debt to China), and not going into detail.

I'm just imagining how those poor dumb yokels and poor dumb rednecks that are always hollering their idiotic slogans and stupid propaganda are now looking stupid in the mirrors, and spending more time in their shabby latrines trying to figure out what to say in public in favor of Dubya!
Well, what the heck, as long as they get their welfare cheques, their Food Stamps, surplus cheese, powdered milk and chewing tobacco... they'll be happy and content to sit around watching Jerry Springer and re-runs of Hee-Haw.
