I believe it takes two to make a baby, so it should take two to decide to abort it. I realize it's the woman's body and all that, but if the father wants to be a father and is willing to take responsibility for the child, he should have that right! But if he wants to keep the baby and she doesn't he should be legally bound to take custody and full responsibility after the baby is born. It should be like
a custody hearing. Same as adoption, a woman shouldn't be able to give the child up for adoption if she knows who the father is and he wants the child.

I believe that that should be a decision that the mother and the father make together. You made the decision together to have sex. So making a decision on weather or not to be parents should be a decision that you both need to decide not just the mother just because she carries the baby for nine months the father should still have just as much say as the father.

I feel very sad for any man that hears his child was killed . Specially if he would have wanted to keep it! This is a human life we are talking about!
I think it is very cruel after the abortion, to hurt a man in such a way. He never had a chance to make a choice, nor did he have the chance to say goodbye. It is NOT appropriate!!
In a nut shell. .... You both made the choice to be together. Both of you should decide together.
If you're not at the point that you want the resposibility of a child, then PLEASE....use protection!!!!!!!!

Would the man be willing to take full responsibility and marry the girl. Then and only then should he have any say in this matter.Even so the girl has a right to decide if she wishes to become a mother. In which case she would'nt involve anyone. Her choice
I know this is'nt the reply you want.Nonetheless it's the truth. There are some things that are WOMENS business. Not religous fanatics with a holier than thou attitude

Unfortunately I think that this is a womens decision. It is her body and if she does not want to have the baby then she has the right to do what she wants. A man can give advice but he cannot make a decision!!!

If she isn't going to keep it in the first place then some guys feel they are better off not even knowing so it will save them from the hurt and loss. On the other hand, I feel like it is the guy's right to know.. I believe it as much as his kid as it is hers and all decisions she makes that have to do with the kid should be discussed with him.

Why? Because it is her body not yours. I am sure they have a reason for not telling the father. Do you fear hell? What does that have to do with anything.
I believe people are so torn up over the fact that a woman can do what she wants with her body and she doesn't have to answer to no one but herself.
If you are not wanting to get anyone pregnant fearing they will have an abortion then use condoms and spermicide or don't have sex at all.

No i think it should be a law that HE IS INFORMED and should have to sign. But that will never happen. Personally I would never abort. unless medically necessary.Sorry for your loss.

WEAR A CONDOM, dont take chances, and dont sleep with women your not involved with. Find the right woman, get married THEN MAKE BABIES. Abortion is not birth control Protect yourself if she isn't going to tr to prevent it.

No, I do not think that is appropriate at all--she has an obligation to tell the father of her child that she is pregnant--the father has rights too--he has a right to keep the baby.
