When we 'see' an object, we are observing the light that bounces off of it. Nitrogen and Oxygen are clear to the wavelengths of light that our eyes can detect, so there is no reflection. No reflection = something you cannot see.

By the way, our eyes evolved to detect a section of the electromagnetic spectrum that reaches the earth, otherwise it would not be useful light. And for that wavelength to reach the surface of the earth it would have to be able to pass through the atmosphere with little absorption. Thus, the light wavelengths we can see MUST correspond to frequencies that reach the earth. Therefore, we cannot see air. I hope that is clear, even though my explanation may not be great.

Our world and all it amazement in it was created by God.
The same God who gave his son Jesus.
If air was visible we would not be able to see much because our vision would be blocked.
Just like God spirit is present in the earth and just because you can't see it don't mean it not real.
Heaven is more amazing and brighter colours then earth.

student: Air is a myth. Show me some air, put it in my hand, and I will believe you.......
Me; Okay class, whoever can show him some air, put it in his hand will get extra credit..........

Air molecules absorb light and it does not have reflection properties.
