comfortable. ever since we know that we ll b marrying eventually.. she seems to be bit different. though i asked if she was comfortable and she gave a neutral reply. How should i explore more on it. How should i get closer. We know each other very thorughly. the marriage will still take 4 years .. she s in college now

I take it that this an arranged marriage. She's probably upset because she's in love with someone else. Give it some time and some space. You can try to talk to her about it, but realize that you probably represent a life that she'd really rather not have.

By your words u seem that both are grown up in near by place, may be she did not expect the same from her parents. She is still studying in college so she has to concentrate more on studies not on her marriage. So she may be little bit upset. Once her college is over then try to speak out clearly and convince her. As u said still 4 years even ur parents also should not reveal the same to her either since this is a very long gap for marriage to be done. So better wait and see.

Four years is a long time. A lot of things can change by then but there is no substitute for talking things over. Good luck.

Let her make a choice, maybe she is thinking it is to early to decide now. Give her time, anyway you'll be getting married 4 years from now. Take it easy, whatever choice she make.

In these four years give her space to breathe easy, don't impose your orders and choices on her, she is younger to you and might have dreams, let them come true, help her to realise her dreams, give her the freedom to do whatever she wants but be there when she needs you.
she doesn't need you to tell her what to do but she needs you to be there when you need her emotionally and be physically present when she really needs you to be there.
She wants you to be there when she looks back, don't let her feel lonely, give her the strength to achieve what she dreams and believe me you respect her today she will tell you what she feels for you. BEST OF LUCK BUDDY.
