Too late! If you're an American and you're not embarrassed, then you're out of touch with the times.
The whole war on terror is an embarrassment, b/c you can't fight an idea and win.
The war in Iraq has been an embarrassment since the beginning, considering the entire war has been shrouded in deceit, and dishonor.
The only thing we can do now is attempt to clean up the mess we've made. Unfortunately, that's going to take years, but once you've gone in and completely effed up a country you have a responsibility to get it back on its feet. I don't know if that's still possible, but it's our responsibility to try.

The only reason Vietnam was an embarrassment is because we pulled out. If we pull out of Iraq before completing the mission, then of course it will be an embarrassment too. If we pull out, the insurgents will declare victory and the US will go down in history as a bunch of sissy losers. We can't let that happen!

No, we need to finish what we started. That is part of the problem with what happened in Vietnam...either way, it seems as if our presence in Iraq has already become an embarrassment.....

During the first month of war in Iran by Bush Administration
there already a mock court chair by some ex leaders of the world
to embarrass US and UK as guilty of war crime in that invasion
That story never reached US?

It is already an embarrassment. You cannot win a war when you are fighting it with a politically correct attitude. We need to be a lot more vicious than the terrorists if we really want to do the right thing.
