First, i usually have a theme in mind.. probably the color or styles. Then i mix and match. shirt first or bottoms first, that depends. only one of that should make a statement, otherwise, it would be too much. example, you would have a printed floral skirt, then you can go easy on the top..say a plain colored one. OR you can have a black stripe top, then you can pair it with denims (which is totally versatile) or probably a white pair of shorts. so this time, the top makes the statement..

NOT stripe top with the floral skirt.

AND sometimes, even your accessories, bags and shoes can make a statement. let say for example a pair of skinny jeans and a plain white top. boring right? SO, to make something out of it, wear a long chunky black necklace, a black bag then white shoes..or using the same top and jeans, you can spruce it up with red shoes, a red brooch pinned on your top, and a black bag..simple, but with style...

something like that...=)

you don't have to limit yourself on what to pick FIRST. try to make a statement with anything one at a time..often, it takes creativity to look good with what you wear from up til bottom..and when that happens, you don't want people to complement just the SHIRT all the time, do you?

hope it helps..

Hi,

I would say, get the bottoms first, then a top to compliment it. Now you look at shoes, then accessories.

Remember that you have to feel comfortable in what you wear and you have to be comfortable with the way you look, otherwise you will be making excuses to go to the ladies to check if everything is still in place...It doesn't help you have the most beautiful heels on, but you cant even stand for 10mins without thinking: "Why did I wear these shoes?".

Also remember to choose your outfit according to the venue.
If you feel great you will enjoy the night out.

No! Do not buy your shoes first! Then you have to match your outfit to them, which is a nightmare and near impossible! It's much easier to choose your outfit first, then the shoes. Whether it's a dress or shirts & pants/skirt, always choose the outfit first. Then choose your shoes, handbag (if you're a woman) and then accessorise with jewellery/hair accessories, makeup etc. Good Luck!

No, first bottom then shirt, then accessories and at last shoes.

brown footwear. no longer orange like the previous man or woman reported, lol! that would look previous ridiculous. this is a very puzzling outfit to pair footwear with so i think of your in basic terms determination is decide for brown. is that this outfit dressy or informal? simply by fact it relatively is form of puzzling to offer a handbook without seeing what you're donning.,
