I would say that if the cooker is to remain in the property after you leave then it is the landlord's responsibility. If you have to pay for it make damn sure you do take it with you. Realistically though, I would say it is a permanent fitting and should be his responsibility.

As far as I'm aware the landlord has no obligation to provide you with a cooker in an unfurnished property. Anything you do in terms of fitting a new cooker is entirely up to you, but make sure you take it with you when you leave!
Yes you would have to pay to have it fitted by a corgi registered fitter, but check with your landlord in terms of getting it gas checked in the future, bearing in mind that the landlord has to pay for an annual inspection of all gas fittings.

Depends on whether you are renting furnished, part furnished, or unfurnished. More modern properties usually come with fitted oven and hob anyway, but older properties requiring a free standing type cooker, and it's up to the above.
Furnished should have one, unfurnished and part furnished and it's up to the discretion of the landlord. If you cant afford to do it, keep looking for something more suitable.

It depends if you have rented as Furnished or Unfurnished. If it's rented as Furnished, then the landlord has to supply a cooker. If its rented as Unfurnished, then you have to supply the cooker.

I totally agree with Aunty m, if you are renting a fully furnished property your landlord should provide all furnishings.

It all depends on what it said in the contract you signed. I suggest you looking at the contract, then speaking to the landlord

YOU DO NOT SAY WHETHER IT IS FURNISHED OR UNFURNISHED. IF IT IS NOT FURNISHED YOU WILL HAVE TO GET YOUR OWN COOKER AND PAY TO HAVE IT CONNECTED.IF FURNISHED THE LANDLORD HAS TO SUPPLY AND FIT.

You would be best to speak to your landlord, but my guess is you will have to pay.
