Well. I think you will get many different comments about this one. And i supose it realy depends on personal tast as well. But now here's the big one LOL. For me it is only a tos up between 4 and 4 only. I can't choose which one is the most haunting so i'll leave it as i see it. NOT IN ORDER OF CHOISE THOUGH
1) Dream. By John Lennon
2) Bird Of Paradise. By Snowy White
3) Only Time. By Enya
4) Title Track From Titanic. Dont know who wrote it. sorry
You may or may not agree with me. I hope you do LOL. When i stoped and thaught about it, i asked myself the question. What actualy defines a haunting song. The answer i came up with was a cord patern that stuck out like a sore thumb. A key change that made a particular part of a song very different and relaxing. Back up instroments that created the atmosphere and feeling of, well, traveling on a cloud is the best way i could describe it. And a song that was lucky enough to have all of the right ingrediance in it, that everytime you heard it, you would stop everything and listen to the words and the music in the background. Then you would feel yourself floating. Does that make sence.
I hope you agree with my choises.

Don't Fade Away-by Dead Can Dance.. the lyrics, the voice and the music create such an atmosphere that you can get lost in this song so easily. Hauntingly beautiful is a perfect description!

Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys.
It's one of the best song ever recorded. And I just love that strange spooky sound during the chorus and the closing track of that song.
