See it only speaks that you are great and stronger than both of them. It takes both of them to team up to cow you down. Just don't be disheartned you are going to be mentally a strong child as you grow up. Kiddo!.

This is tough for me to answer, because in my family I'm usually the one siding with my mother, against my little brother. But here's why I think I do it: I really want my brother to become the best person he can be. I care about him, and so I feel like I need to support my mom when he gets in trouble for getting bad grades or putting others down. I know that's not the kind of advice you want to hear, but I don't really think there is a solution. Instead of ignoring it, try to see their side of the story, and maybe it will help you understand why they share the same views.

that was happening between me and my mom and sis. i finally sat them down and told them how i felt and how it made me feel. it worked. I dont know your family of course so i dont know if it will work but you could try actually sitting them down.
Ignoring the problem wont make it go away.

God, that's got to be annoying. Just ignore it. Perhaps once they see you ignoring it, they'll stop taking each others side.

your family dynamic will never change so stop driving yourself crazy and looking for their approval, be the best you possible and focus on your own goals and dreams.

tell them how you feel and then let it go. if they dont respond, then you have your answer that they dont respect you. or what you said triggered something in them and they arent ready to discuss it.
