A married couple have made a lawful covenant before God, family, and friends. They commit to be together no matter what comes their way. They serve eachother, they support one another. They do not keep secrets or allow others to talk negativley about their spouse. They respect one another's differences and do not belittle the other because of them. Being married is a lot of work, but well worth it. It is not to be taken lightly and when things get tough the answer is not divorce. This is why it is important that you marry the right person, for the right reasons. I have been married for almost 3 years and we put God first. I do not know how people do it without Him being a part of it.

A married couple has commitment to each other which is often documented. The law recognises them as husband and wife .They are not in a hurry to do thing knowing they have each other ntill death. The have peace of mind as the relatinship can not break in a minute but will take time to discuss and see if they want to divorce. They are more free to have a family since the child will have both a mother and a father.Children are more secure .They can even have sex without one of them feeling they are being used. They are free to be seen in public as a couple unlike some relationships were the girl is afraid of the owner the husband seeing her with him.You dont need to keep your partner using money or sex but are committed to each other even if there is no money or sex.

1. Argue
2. Threaten divorce
3. Visit each other's relatives out of guilty feelings of obligation

As far as I can tell, the only thing that truly distinguishes them from long-term couples who aren't married is a legal document.

There is no special things they should do together as a couple except that they have planned to live together and raise their kids and be united whole through the life and enjoy both fruits and kickbacks.

I don't think they do anything different than single couples. Unless they just start living together after marriage. Then it is about deciding financial matters together. I think marriage is fine, but I really think it boils down to finances all the way around. Commitment doesn't need a license.

Being married means you have a legal contract, which will protect your children. Being married means that you want to be with that person for the rest of your life and you are committed to that union and to the children of that union.
It doens't always work ...

A "married couple" has a responsibilty towards each other. They will take "pain" to make sure the marriage works and brings out the best in each other.

To be married is just having a paper helping you when you separate from your lover and get, in the eye of the law a status linking you to some procedures.

You shouldn't act differently when married or not.

They don't look like they are dating when they were couples, rather than dragging each other along. My point, they don't looks so loving.
