One day I am visiting an artist blog of their current work and next day it's thier work right in front of me in the "well known" fashion stores. They clearly stole someones idea. What's up with that?

Yes...happens all the time. First rule of thumb my teacher taught me...don't give them your sketch book to have the chance to scam from you...same goes for sample pieces.
