I just watched coach carter lke last night and it really inspired me to go out and work hard on getting fit for my sport and stuff. Instead of just asking for any inspirational movie and getting lots of responses of movies i never heard of, i decided to ask something different. So what is a movie that just made u want to go out and get fit and achieve something great in sport? and what sport was the movie about

Coach Carter is a good one. If you play football you have to watch Remember the Titans and Friday Night Lights. Especially Friday Night Lights. At the end of the movie I was crying because it reminded me so much of my high school football experience.

The ONLY movie that ever inspired me to go out and get fit was Terminator 2; Judgment Day. I was really impressed by how physically fit Linda Hamilton was, like when she was doing the chin-ups on the upturned bed legs. Let's see, the sport was running away from cyborg robotic killers and saving the world.

NOW then, I loved loved loved Bend It Like Beckham, about soccer. But it didn't inspire me to play soccer. ALTHOUGH, I used to coach peewee soccer.

Believe it or not, Bring It On. It made me want to be a cheerleader (and, yes, cheerleading is a sport!) and I ended up being a co-captain my senior year.
Also, A League of Their Own. I played softball for 4 years (even though that movie is based on baseball) and that movie just always seemed to put me in the mood to play.

Most inspirational? Well, nothing has yet beat "Chariots of Fire"; however, I am in no shape to begin running.
As far as just the dramatic inspiration of a movie, I loved the original of "Brian's Song"; but it is about real life, not just about sports.(in this case, professional football).
