Maybe not the game itself. but stuff surrounding it, and the way the people talked and stuff.

Yeah the post-game was a bit strange but I think Irsay and Dungy meant well..especially Dungy. He's been through a lot with the loss of his son. You can't blame him for thanking God for persevering through those hard times to get to this special moment.

Yes, and I found it irritating.

The Colts' owner and Dungy kept talking about doing things "the Lord's way". Like the guys in the losing locker room didn't say prayers to God asking him to help them play their best?

What, does God choose who wins based on who is holiest? It ain't like the Bears were sitting in their locker room performing satanic rituals before the game.

"Man, I was all set to score that touchdown until Jesus made me fumble!"

What a load of rubbish. Both teams went out there and gave it their best effort, and the Colts simply performed better.

It had nothing to do with God being on "their side".

Tony Dungy thanked God for his victory. I think it was wonderful. God brought Tony through losing his son, and has been there for him Good Times and Bad.

no not really. i thought it was weird when the colts' owner thanked God but i found it very humbling and touching to hear tony dungy do it considering what he has been through in his personal life. he's a proud Christian... nothing wrong with that.

Yes and there is nothing wrong with it. God should get credit for everything in your life since he gave you life. God is good. God is great and I thank him for everything everyday..

because lovie smith and tony dungee are both christians, those coaches tend to have an influence on who they surround themselves with, who are predominately christians.

OMG yes! After the Commissioner got up on the thing and that jackass started thanking god for helping them win the super bowl I just rolled my eyes and shut off the tv. They are so ignorant! God had no hand in helping them. It was skill. Nothing else. I'm just so tired of people being too stupid and letting other people think for themselves. WAKE UP PEOPLE! Its just another form of control just like the government is. God sure helped out all those people in Florida? Why would god knock down his own building? THINK MORONS! Nobody thinks outside the box.
