No, we are far from Spain. And we haven't been under the British since 1979!!! We are part of the European Union now.

Because this section is called Europe (Continental) and Malta is not in continental Europe, it is an island.

too tiny of a country....
I have 3 friends who ever been to Malta in various dates in the past 4 years.

They all say that the island sucks and the people behave badly to the tourists (not to mention overcharging in the restaurants)

I read on the papers that Malta airlines bribe the journalists -giving them free tickets and a 3 days of free holiday in return for writing up a positive and attractive column in their papers & magazines.

Oh geez, this is disgusting..

Oh Wow. I love Malta. But isn't it going to switch to Spain or will it remain British. Hope they remain British.
