It would have to be someone not only with a monstrous physique, but someone who can ACT, because the character of Thor is very regal, complicated, and forthright. Any ideas?

Vladimir Kulich, the actor that played Buliwyf in the movie The 13th Warrior. He has the physique and the acting ability. Put a big happer in his hand and he IS Thor.

I have to go with Dolph Lundgren-he fits the bill in every way. However,if you had asked me this 10 years ago,I would have said Kevin Sorbo because not only did he have the physique,but his ancestral background is Norwegian(he even said he was 100% viking)which would have been perfect.
