GSH are the initials of the former owner/player/founder/coach of the Chicago Bears. His name is George S. Halas, hence the GSH, this logo was added in 1984 in memory of him and his contribution to the Bears' organization, clearly it is well deserved for him so GSH= initials of George S. Halas

It's the initials of Papa Bell, the founder of the Chicago Bears, George S. Halas. I forget now which it is, but a google search comes up w/ a pub quiz w/ the possible answers being:

Steven, Stanley, Stuart or Samuel.
