It's not bad. I'm sure you've already heard it's gory. The visuals are stunning--no surprise. The film doesn't really have much to say about Mayan history and culture however, which I found disappointing. It's basically just another action film in a novel setting: think "Lethal Weapon" in ancient Mesoamerica.

Saw it opening day at the theatre, should've waited for dvd. It wasn't bad, just the story was boring and very predictable.

The first half was boring and it kinda dragged, then it picked up and although it was predictable, i liked the last half...

I liked it because it was entertaining but the plot was totally implausible.

looks interesting, but i dun plan to watch it. but mel gibson movies are generally nice. i advise you to go and watch it if you have the time.
