the distance of one round is 2 * pi * 100 = 200 pi
it takes 40 seconds to do 200*pi thus per second this is 200*pi/40 = 5*pi / second

fot 2 minutes and 20 econd = 2*60 + 20 = 140 seconds
id twill thus be the distance 140 * 5 * pi = 700*pi

( 5pi per second thus 140* 5pi in 140 seconds. )

The circumference is the distance travelled which is 2(pi)R

= 2*22/7*200/2=4400/7=629 M

Everytime he finishes a circle, the displacement will become 0 as he comes back to the original position.

In 2min20 secs = 140 seconds, he will be finishing 3 circles in 120 seconds. In rest 20 seconds, he will be away by 314.5 (629/2) meters which is the displacement.
