How do you make a period shorter without using pills?

Suck on fresh lemons. that should make it shorter if nmot stop it altogether. it works for my cousins and i.

I don't really think there is a way. I know that exercising and eating right helps to make PMS symptoms less severe, but as far as being a shorter length of time...without some sort of hormone change, I think you are stuck with what nature dictates. If you just don't want to take pills, but are open to hormones, I suggest the depo shot. I took it as birth control and I ended up not having my period for the year that I was on it, although I did have some spotting from time to time.
