If a mother is HIV/AIDS positive and not on medication, the disease can be passed through breastmilk (obviously, it is passed through secretions from the vagina and penis, as it is a Sexually Transmitted Disease). If the mother delivered in a hospital and had prenatal care, she should have had the option to be tested for HIV/AIDS, if there was any question. If you have a question now, you should absolutely be tested to protect the child. I would call your doctor or pediatrician first thing in the morning as this is very dangerous. Part of me hopes this is a serious question so I didn't just waste my time, but the bigger part of me hopes it is a joke so a child is not in danger.

Um .... does your wife have AIDS or HIV? If not, end of discussion. (I'm assuming for the sake of decency, she's not sucking on the other source you mentioned...)

Yes, you can get HIV by doing oral sex on an infected male. This is nowhere near as common as transmission by anal sex, but documented (or at least presumed) cases do exist. But again, babies shouldn't be sucking d*ck, so we'll assume this isn't an issue.

Transmission by breastfeeding is theoretically possible but AFAIK has not been documented. Since breast milk can transmit *antibodies* to HIV, which is the only common means of detecting the disease, an infant can test 'HIV+' when only antibodies and not the actual virus have been transmitted.

Again, however, *nobody* can transmit HIV or AIDS unless they're infected to begin with.

What a weird freakin' question.

If the mother has HIV or AIDS the baby can catch it through the breast milk, es and obviously you can get it from the penis aswell, there are chances that a mother with HIV may not pass the virus through to her child, but after the child is born t he child must go on formula to decrease any further risk of catching the virus, if your wife has HIV or AIDS she should not be breastfeeding a chidl that is not infected with the virus!
Look after you baby and your wife, and perhaps find a nicer way to ask your questions here like oral sex instead of sucking off!!!!
