of course, don't you? every being need to have the opportunity to choose. this is his time: all his life, considering that there is life about we don't know and knowing that birth and death are not our free choice (with some exceptions which make the rule stronger)

I wonder if Abraham can find any meaning in fathering the house of Israel,
Or Ben Ladens mother,
Or the Virgin Mary,
Mrs Hitler,
Mrs Einstein.
It is our duty to " Take Birth " Our purpose, and our guarantee of continuity begins with each ones conception.
It is in what we leave behind when we depart this polluted planet that so determines the worth of our achievements.

Well, birth isn't much of an achievement if you look at it in retrospect, but it's a big accomplishment for you whenever you go thru it, and it's a big accomplishment for the woman who you come out of.
Is there meaning in anything we do?
I say we live because the universe wants to preserve itself. That's why. You can draw your own conclusions.

Birth is not an achievement- maybe giving birth is, but not being born (unless it was a complicated birth, but even then the achievement is the mother's or the doctor's or midwife, etc.)
A life-span is an opportunity to be a reflection of your highest ideals along with an expression of the mixture of your ancestry, your history, your culture, your dna, your time, your beliefs, your upbringing, your tastes, your values, etc, etc, etc.

I don't believe it is a one time event. I believe that our soul is born in a physical body and moves on to new bodies, each time we die. The big picture, this journeying of the soul, is the greater achievement. Each body is like a new day and a new opportunity for learning, experience and growth.

By the way this question has been asked since time immemorial... thanks for asking again:).
Sometimes we are paralyzed between improving the world, understanding it - vs - simply Enjoying it.
We do not know which is better.
