It's definitely not prediction (E) because you measured (prediction means to guess). Deceptive measurement implies you got the outcome wrong, so C can't be it. We know it's not an optical illusion either, so it's either A or B and both sound good. Which one makes more sense to you? Direct or indirect? Go with the answer that's most likely.
