"I can't teach you creativity"

My 10th grade homeroom teacher over heard me & a friend talking about how old we would be turning the following year and that we would be a year closer to being adults - age 18. He said to us "Adulthood has nothing to do with age" - I have found that very true over the last 6 months while I have been traveling around meeting different people, its not necessarily those with more life experience that act more mature, if anything they seem to the most self-obsessed childish people. Some of the kindest and most out there people I have meet are the younger people.

I had a history teacher that would show us primary sources such as sample floor plans of homes in the 1800s or magazines from the 1950's and then asked us to think about what these things indicate about life at that time.

Specifically speaking, one of the clearest lessons I took away from my education is to show the reader what I'm trying to say instead of telling them. Generally speaking, the more you understand about your topic matter, the more creative you will be.

My typing teacher tought me how to sit sexy and type I loved her she was so cool and I type fast
