, January 09, 2007anyone been to lake garda end of may what sort of temperatures are we looking at. also is it possible to eat out at restaurant arond the harbour or are all inside castle area

In May, the weather all around Lake Garda, including Sirmione, is absolutely gorgeous.

We have been late April and in May and the weather both times was beautiful - defn. sunbathing (and sometime quite humid) on the deck outside our Hotel (Eden) right on the lakeside and plenty of bars and restaurants with outside dining.

It still should be quite nice, we have always gone in August and it's been boiling,sometimes too hot.

dry on land.....wet in lake....hope it helps
