i dont understand what scientist are talking about when they say they dont know who or how the egyptians built the pyramids and the position they are in from sattelite views! i dont understand someone please explain! and why do some people say aliens probably built them?? serious answers only please! thanks!

Well, this is a rather large subject matter, but I will try to provide a quick overview of my understanding of it.
The magnitude of building the pyramids is why the scientists are confused as to how it was done. Most of the stone had to be moved over very long distances. The capability to cut and move the stones, some weighing many tons, was not thought possible during that time in history. The fact that most, if not all, pyramids are aligned almost perfectly with certain astronomical or solar events indicates a higher knowledge of astronomy and seasons than was thought to be possible during that time. There are no documents, that I am aware of, from that time that explain how they did this, so there is no record from the builders of how it was done. I think this was done intentionally so that those after the pharoahs would not be able to duplicate the achievements. This is a simplified version of an entire field of study that has been going on for many, many years.
As for the alien theory, again because the Egyptians were not thought to be capable, scientifically or physically, to build the pyramids, some people try to claim that aliens must have done it. The "It can't be fully explained in human terms, therefore someone else did it" theory.

first point to clear u is that no "aliens" stories are all involved in this wonderfull monument but the blood of many hard workers.......
pyramids have special case when compared to other wonders of the world.....i.e it is an graveyard.....with palace structures.....the most unbelievable thing that make most of the scientists to confuse is that the Big stone that was built in the "giant pyramid-Giza" ,weighs many tonnes of weight was kept above the pyramid in such a olden times itself,where there is no sophisticated machines has ever been invented....even more,this giant structure has many more rooms which are in some places with undergrounds also.......
in one of pyramid, it has been found that the sunrise and sunset can be seen ,even sitting inside the pyramid itself........and this mass structure can be seen clearly than other wonders........moreover,the methods implemented by the egyptian people in building it are highly qualitative......thge great ever solved puzzle in it ,is the fine finishings of the structures......i.e the distance between two layers of the stones is very very less and minute.......this type of strutures cannot be built any engineers even at this modern age........this is possible only with the egyptian techniques...........but strongly, the role of illusion about the "aliens" is nothing.........only man power has got the all values for this everlasting monument..........this appears to be mystery to us.....but according to me, this will be a simplest concept to those people who built it.........that is, those people are well knowledged and intelligent when compared to us........we all are nill infront of them......this is real thing which we take them as mystery..............

I am not sure what scientist you are listening to...but all the egyptologist that I know of have no illusion that aliens built them. There is a lot of labor involved, but no doubt that the Egyptians built the pyramids. The Discovery channel did a program on building them, they hired crews and transported the rocks and built ramps to set up the basics of the pyramids.

There's no mystery about the astronomy either - the Egyptians were good observers. Their religions and mythologies were heavily influenced by what they could see in the night sky, and people like Robert Bauval have said this is reflected in the way the pyramids are positioned. Mainstream archeologists aren't convinced, though. The "who" and the "how" are well understood - the mystery is "why".
