i've never had terrible skin before, so i'm sure it's just the stress of planning a wedding across the country. i do everything i can to relax when i'm not busy or planning. i was wondering if anyone knew of a great spot treatment, cleanser moisturizer, coverup, you name it! just things anyone has used that are sure to have my skin looking better by march 4th! i would prefer actual products rather than natural remedies, but if anyone knows of tricks other than toothpaste, etc (which have never worked for me), you could include those too! thanks so much!

just to clarify, i don't CURRENTLY use toothpaste on my face! i tried it when i was maybe 15...i just put that up there bc in other skincare questions i ALWAYS see someone suggest using it and i was trying to avoid that suggestion, bc i agree, if ANYTHING it makes you break out...

Toothpaste?! That is not the right treatment for acne! No wonder why you are starting to break out. Follow these steps and tell me how it works.

1.) Wash your face with a gentle anti-bacterial cleanser with warm water twice a day(morning/night Dont over do it, it could dry your skin. If you are on a super budget, even dial bar soap would work)

2.) Splash cold anti-bacterial toner on your face after cleansing. Let the toner dry up naturally if possible. (Super budget? Cold water would suffice.)

3.) When toner dries, use medicated face moisturizers with light texture. These could be found anywhere and some go for as cheap as $1.25 at your local supermarket or drugstore.

4.) Eat/Drink lots of fruits and vegetables which have lots of vitamins. Mother nature is a big "fag hag!" She provides us with everything we need to look fabulous! Fruits and vegetables not only help your body build and maintain essential building blocks for your body but they are also natural anti-toxins that fight off everyday toxins from environment!

5.) Lastly, girl, when you get stressed, relax! Go have your man breed you or something if you need help relaxing. Shoot, sex always works when all else fails! LMAO

(products i suggest for the above steps: 1.) Lancome pure focus cleanser 2.)lancome antibacterial mattificante toner 3.) decleor ylang ylang moisturizer 4.) jamba juice strawberry surfrider ( one everyday....i swear this stuff is not only good but you'll see a lot of difference.)
Let me know how these work for you...whattakine@cox.net.

I teach Skin Care for Mary Kay Cosmetics and if you don't already have a good skin care routine start there.
I'm sure it's the stress been there.
Something that cleanses, exfoliates and tones your skin (not soap it drys you out and cause the skin to produce more oil) a oil free moisturizer and oil free foundation. make sure the products are Non-comedogenic. (won't clog pores).
Microdermabrasion will give you immediate results (refines pores, polishes and removes dull skin but make sure you are cleansing properly or it will just be a waste of money.
I would be happy to send you sample.
Drink lots of water and eat well.

When you are young, the oil glands are very active and secret too much sebum for body development. If the openings of the skin pores are small, the sebum will stuck in the pores. The pores will swell redly as the sebum accumulates in pores. This is first stage of acne development. And then come bacteria infection. Most doctors focus their intention on bacteria infection and use medicine stop it. But the medicine can't lyse the sebum and the red swell still stay there. Cleansing is a only way to solve this problem. Unfortunately most washes in store are made of surfactants which can clean all oil up on skin surface but can not go into small pores. The sebum blockage of pores can not be broken through by surfactants. But the sebum is easy to be absorbed out of pores by Chlorella Gel Cleanser. Made of food green algae, Chlorella Gel cleanser can clean sebum or dust out of pores and remove acne quickly.

I would go to a salon that has a good facialist on staff. She will be able to tell you what to do and help you get your skin in good shape for the wedding. You have to learn to relax a bit. I know that planning a wedding can be stressful, but take out a few minutes a day to just totally relax and calm yourself.

My advice is to go to a salon. Have a day of relaxation, then get a facial. After that, keep trying to relax as much as possible throughout the next month, and get another facial the day before your wedding, or the day of if you have enough time. That should clear your face up, and if it doesn't I suggest Perfect Blend makeup.

That is a unpleasant situation. You have to reduce stress, it's what causes you the most troubles... Also drink a lot of water, workout every day and you have to sleep enough...

It's very important to relax yourself and empty your head when you do. It doesn't help to relax and still think about everything. Your wedding will be great, believe me, you do your best!

Try Murad acne treatment. They have a website you can order it from. I use it and it's the only thing that works. I tried Proactive and it didn't help much and made my skin red. For make up try Sheer cover,it's a mineral make up.They also have a web site you can order it from. Make sure to drink lots of water, that will help with your skin, stay away from soda. Good luck !

Japanese women have beautiful skin. They exfoliate by shaving -- not primarily to remove hair, but for the value of exfoliating without damage.
